I have so much gratitude for being born in this wonderful village in the 1940’s where “everyone knows your name”. It was a safe place where we had easy access to the Farmington River and the woods on the mountain to totally enjoy.

With a grammar school, two churches, a volunteer fire house, a gas station, 3 markets, and many community gatherings, there was always so much to participate in and do. It is still alive an vibrant to this day, especially with the Tariffville Village Association helping to add new elements to the village all the time.​​
